Tips and Ideas and Makeovers

Blue bathrooms: cool design ideas and inspiration

One of the nice things about using the color blue in the bathroom is that we associate it with water. That is why many people choose this color for their bathrooms and powder rooms. In order to  make your blue bathroom  more interesting, try to use a variety of blue shades. For example, instead of using one tone of blue, consider different shades of blue from the lightest to the most vivid blue shades in your bathroom. Also, take into consideration all your decorating options–such as the wall color, decorative towels and the flooring.

Here are a few quick tips on how to pull off a beautiful blue bathroom that will make your friends salivate with envy.

1) For the walls, you can paint them with a light shade of blue as this color creates an airy and open atmosphere to a space.

2) For towels, you may display several decorative towels  in your bathrooms. Depending on your taste, you may choose one solid color or in a variety of colors. Use these towels to bring in an accent color or other different shades of blue.

3) Rugs- If your flooring is in light color, then use some bathroom rugs in your favorite blue shade or some blue shades that blend well with your theme.

4) Accessorize your bathroom with dark blue accessories such as your soap holder, lotion dispenser, toothbrush holder and trash can.
